In case you’ve somehow missed the news in the past two weeks, TomorrowWorld, for the most part, was bereft with logistical difficulties and thousands of attendees left very unhappy with the Atlanta festival. Plagued by both weather issues and poor logistical planning and foresight, TomorrowWorld’s failure was also reflected in the tanking stock of mother company SFX.
While a majority of people are questioning TomorrowWorld’s future, there remains one person who would very much like to see the festival return – Chattahoochee Hills’ Mayor Tom Reed.
Interviewed by local news station 11 Alive, Reed shared his thoughts on what exactly went awry that weekend – be it the weather, or as Reed suggests, TomorrowWorld’s logistical failures. He goes on to address concerns relating specifically to the residents of Chattahoochee Hills as well as communication errors between residents and the city. The video cites an example of supposed public meetings that were held prior to TomorrowWorld, but residents say they were not informed of said meetings.
