Dubloadz has just uploaded his newest addition to the Disciple Reinforcements Volume 2 compilation in the form of a mind bending original track titled “Dope Ass Clouds.” Utilizing hilarious vocal samples from Youtube “sensation” Blake Vapes, he is able to fluidly weave in humor and personality into an otherwise dirt nasty dubstep heater. The track begins with arpeggiated cascades of metallic stabs and a rough swirling of noise, before a no-nonsense kick and snare reveal the tempo. A series of claps along with further atmospheric elements carries the swell upwards toward the hook. Featuring a particularly clever line from Blake Vapes, Dubloadz unveils the origin for the naming of his track. One more rise gives way to the drop. A gigantic array of synthetic wipes and punches flows up and down around the tight and powerful percussion arrangement underneath. These drums are left alone eventually, save a few heavy, tonal strikes. The swell returns and brings the track back into a repeated drop, this time with newfound energy and life.
