France’s Suken is proving to be a worthy competitor in the French-house community. His newest release is a collab with his country-mate Fusq, delivering a flawless homage to the immense influence artists like Daft Punk and Madeon have on the scene. “Changes” tastefully utilizes some classic French sounds while maintaining an air of uniqueness overall.
“Changes” starts off with a simple drum beat layered under some light, upbeat synth work. Things suddenly pick up with a chorus of funky bass lines and catchy piano chord, mixed impeccably and abundant with Madeon-vibes. A short interlude offers a break before Suken brings everything back, finishing off strong with his infectious melodies.
