The Monday blues may have passed, but we’re still early in the week; if you need a little shanti-ratchet anthem to keep you going after a wild weekend, who could blame you? Nobody! Which is why we’re happy to inform you Stephan Jacobs has most definitely got what you’re searching for.
His latest track ‘Dreamstate’ feels both fresh & unique, as well as completely in line with Jacobs‘ signature production style. Sub-bass spalls are complemented by Egyptian influenced, almost celestial synth rhythms and distinctly tribal drum patterns. There’s even a bit of dub in there for the OG bass heads. Best of all, the track has quasi-inspirational & semi-swagged out lyrics courtesy of Neaks, a rapper and performer who is also based out of Los Angeles. The two artists make a solid combo, and we hope to see more collaborations from them in the future.
