Stories was initially scheduled for release yesterday, but up against contenders Kaskade, Disclosure, Fetty Wap, CHVRCHES, Big Grams and more, it might have been smart to delay it until next week, October 2nd. That, and the Grammys cut-off for 2015 is September 30th.
However, that doesn’t mean we’re left high and dry, either. On the contrary, far from it. Avicii released a 16-minute megamix of tracks from his album, mixed together. And from the sound of it, we have a lot to look forward to next week! With influences from tropical house and country, as has become his trademark sound, Stories is a strong contender for album of the year and this mix just helps to solidify that notion.
