Kaskade’s “Disarm You” has been getting several remixes over the weeks, but this may be the best of the bunch. RFLXX, an up-and-comer from Seattle, has taken Kaskade’s hit and turned it into a vibed-out future bass masterpiece.
The track starts off with some soothing synths over a laid-back drum beat, while vocal cuts add a bit of flair to the mix. The drop brings a classic future-bass feel, as bouncing chords and a slow and steady kick drive the beat. Things get switched and simplified at the ‘second part’ of the drop, as a heavy sub enters the track to really establish a slow trap feel to the remix. A short piano interlude offers a break before the multi-genre chorus picks up again.
