It seems like EDX has a permanent hold on my heartstrings, because every time he drops a new track and music video, something always hits home. The Swiss beatsmith has been on an absolute tear this summer, releasing chart-dominating remixes of Sam Feldt’s “Show Me Love,” Spada’s “Catchfire (Sun Sun Sun),” and “Sugar” by Robin Schulz before turning his attention to his latest original work, “Belong.”
Combining deep, soulful vocals with uplifting progressive hooks and pulsing bass lines, “Belong” is a somber, nostalgic number driven by a smooth piano melody that takes the tune straight to the dance floor.
