2015 has been a big year for Diplo thus far having collaborated with major artists such as Justin Bieber for “What Do You Mean?” and DJ Snake and MØ (as one half of Major Lazer) for “Lean On.”
Speaking to Billboard backstage at Las Vegas’ iHeardRadio Music Festival, Diplo had this to say about his big year. “I never could’ve expected it, but I worked hard in all of 2014 and put out a bunch of good records this year.”
Looking forward to the future as well Diplo also revealed that he would be collaborating with The Weeknd, Sia, and Travis Scott for his upcoming Major Lazer album. He summed it up with “people I’ve worked with in the past and just trying to work with on my next Major Lazer album, because I think people are expecting some big records again, so we’re back in the studio.”
