France’s ever-talented DANGER is back in full force with a lesser known project. SUNSET is the producers alter-ego, and under this name he becomes a purveyor of relentlessly dark beats. His newest effort is titled “Posthumous Remorse,” and it’s a seriously heavy piece of work.
The track starts off with ambient sounds in the back, as a hard hitting bass line slowly creeps in. Hi-hats and a punchy snare complete the mix, forming an incredibly slow and beautiful beat. A gloomy French voice talks over the track, the perfect addition. Epic piano chords finish things off on this short-lived song, really driving home the emotional vibes this piece set out to deliver.
The video features a lone male figure walking a bridge at sunset, a very fitting scene for the desolate nature of “Posthumous Remorse.”
