Having their own Wet Republic residency, the Krewella girls were already in town, so it wasn’t a tough trip for Yazzy to make. She sat down with Kaiya and the rest of the contestants and imparted some of her own wisdom from when she first started DJing nearly five years ago.
“You’ll hear people say, ‘Oh, you’re a female DJ?’ You should never feel like you have a handicap.”
