It’s no secret that the artists coming out of Icon Collective, an LA based music production school, have been blowing up the EDM scene and Milian and Nick Hogan are no exception!
This collab from the two new up-n-comers entitled “Kunundra” is huge! We love everything from the heavy percussive elements to the big anthemic melody in the breakdown! The kick alone in the drop layered from multiple different elements pounds the hell out of the sub while allowing said kick to sound less like a tight digital sample that you hear in so many 128bpm drops and more like a big tribal drum echoing throughout a jungle or a T-Rex stomping its feet!
Nick Hogan and Milian started working on music together when they were in class together at Icon and have stayed in close contact ever since developing their own sound and making their way into the scene! Milian made his debut performance at EDC Orlando after being a winner in the Insomniac discovery project. Milian had grown up being surrounded by all different types of music and with a wide spread love for different genres and his production has been evolving ever since while Nick Hogan has spent over ten years working in the music industry, from beginning to produce at 15 years old to DJing at 18. Nick Hogan has worked along side some of the music industry’s biggest stars and performed in some of the world’s greatest venues including LIV Miami and Ultra Music Festival. Always known for a heavy and aggressive style, Nick and Milian bring it hard with “KUNUNDRA.”
