If you think Holy Ship or Mad Decent Boat Party were the first electronic music cruises to hit the seas, you’d be dead wrong. Long before the imitators, way back in 2004, there was Groove Cruise. This year marks its 12th anniversary, and in celebration the Carnival Inspiration cruise ship will be sailing from Los Angeles to Catalina Island then down to Ensenada, Mexico from October 23-26. At 855 feet long, and with a staggering 14 decks, this boat has space to host an onboard water park, casino, mini-golf course, and abundant dance floor space.
Groove Cruise has released their complete line up for this fall’s expedition, jam packed with all-star DJs from all backgrounds. Cazzette, Vinai, Ferry Corsten, Paul Oakenfold, Vicetone, Quintino, DVBBS and many more will take to the stage while a sold out crowd tries to acquire their sea legs.

Finally, Groove Cruise’s Miami voyage on January 22nd has officially announced a remix competition for their loyal fans, and the prize package is clam good.
Entrants must submit their remix of Dirty South’s ‘Find You’ for a chance to win a DJ set on-board Groove Cruise Miami, round-trip airfare for two, plus an Oceanview Stateroom for two, with the winning remix also released on Phazing Records.
