I rarely listen to techno, or any kind of house in general. But when I do, I want it to be dark, gritty, and hard. All three of those qualifications were met with Ben Wash’s track “Misery” featuring Culture Prophet. “Misery” will be released as part of a 4-track EP on September 18th called Doppelgänger.
“Misery” is that kind of Gesaffelstein-esque dirty house tune that rattles your bones at a frequency much different than your typical club house. Rather than the consistent thump thump thump, this tune will cover a wide range of tempos and rhythms, all while retaining that solidly simple and gloriously wild electro techno vibe.
