Contrary to popular belief, stages can be a minefield of disaster for the bands and DJs playing. The heavy pieces of equipment, fog machines, strobe lights, and slightly different set arrangements for each stop on their tour all have an impact on the performer’s safety at live events. In recent years, we’ve witnessed countless casualties in the EDM community alone. From Skrillex hitting his head on the Mothership set to Steve Aoki breaking a girl’s neck to Afrojack falling off stage, the number of injuries are increasing as events continue to ramp up production and clutter on stage.
This morning, we received word of the scene’s latest victim: Carnage. Following a performance at Miami’s Story nightclub last night, he sent out a tweet describing his ripped knee. Luckily, he seems to be in high spirits and in good health otherwise. Still, not a a great way to start your Labor Day…
Fuck…. I ripped my knee up bad last night…. I love you Miami…. Thanks for rocking Witt me
