As far as live electronic acts go, there are few as spellbinding as Empire Of The Sun.
The group’s well documented live persona is a large part of their performance appeal as their whimsical music sweeps you away to an enchantingly good time. Their 2013 album Ice On The Dune has supported the bulk of their performances for the past two years; and though we don’t know when new material might be coming, we don’t seem to mind.
Luke Steele has said that Empire of the Sun is not a band, “it’s more of a caricature.”
