Previously focusing solely on video creation tools, Vine has now turned their attention to sound. The viral video-sharing app has now incorporated “Music on Vine,” catering to the platform’s countless artists and music-lovers.
Amongst the new features of the music initiative will a be “snap to beat” function, allowing for seamless music loops to play alongside continuous video. New music discovery features will also make a debut thanks to a recent partnership with Billboard, and the app’s most popular tracks will be shared on the Billboard Social 50 chart. Users will also have the option to add sound effects to enhance their videos.
