Our culture is definitely one that gets a ton of flack from the mainstream especially around festival season. That’s why this video from our friends at Firechat couldn’t have come at a better time. In it, festival goers illustrate just what it is that makes our scene one of a kind and why it’s so special to be able to call such a large group of practical strangers Your EDM Family. We get may swept up in all the tabloid garbage and fluffy stuff but in the end it is really all about the music, regardless of genre, and the shared sense of love and camaraderie that comes with it. This video serves as a poignant reminder to all of us to remember just what we got into this for at the first place because at the end of the day no matter if you’re an artist, promoter, agent or fan, we should all be proud to be apart of this wonderfully accepting & diverse family.
