It has been quite the week for Avicii. A few days ago, Avicii and his team announced that he would be cancelling the rest of his shows for 2015. Pulling the same stunt last year, Avicii explained that the rest 2015 would be to focus on his sophomore album, Stories.
With his new album slated for a October 2nd release, Avicii continued to tease the release by releasing two new music videos, both of which Avicii himself co-directed, according to VEVO; the other director being Levan Tsikurishvili.
The music videos are for Avicii’s two new singles, “Pure Grinding” and “For A Better Day.” Both videos take a more serious approach than what we have come to expect from Avicii, and instead address real world problems we all face in today’s world.
The releases come only days after Avicii decided to step down for the rest of the year. You can check out the music videos to “Pure Grinding” and “For A Better Day” below:
