Avicii is at it again, or rather, not. It’s been just over a year since his last tour postponement which cited health concerns as the reasoning for his mysterious retreat, and now – albeit citing a very different reasoning – the Avicii camp has one again pushed back previously announced tour dates and residencies for the remainder of the year.
This time the Swede embellishes on his need to “grow up” and pardons himself in the effort of attaining a “larger tour initiative and a well deserved break” going into his Stories release. We have to say though, this is at least slightly suspicious provided recent history. Check out his quote in length below.
“I look forward to keep being innovative with my team in leading a bigger change than just with my music. In moving my tour promotional responsibilities to next year, I have a great opportunity to focus on myself and spend time trying to grow up in a way I never got the chance to – normal, or as normal as it could get. My team, label and family have encouraged me to do that and I realize not many in my position get that opportunity.”
