Imagine Dragons, one of the two groups that immediately come to mind when you mention mainstream adopting EDM, the other being Alex Clare (to me at least). That being said, many of their tracks are ripe for remixing, as any good pop act should be.
This latest remix comes to us courtesy of Jorgen Odegard, taking on the track “Dream” from Imagine Dragons’ latest album Smoke + Mirrors. Jorgen transformed a powerful lyric ballad into a trapped out banger with apparent ease, substituting a backup choir of singers for horns and a soft violin for 808s and sweeping synths. For anyone looking to add a little more POW to their Friday night house parties, this is a solid choice.
