It seems like Spinnin’ Records and EDX are a match made in heaven. Earlier this year, EDX released his “Indian Summer” remix of “Show Me Love” on the renowned dance imprint, which stormed its way to a Hype Machine #1 on its way to garnering over 30 million plays in just a few short months. Looking back even further than that, the Swiss dance authority began his sonic evolution last year with a Spinnin’ release, “Breathin’,” which was the first step into the deeper regions of house for EDX. Now, EDX makes his triumphant return to Spinnin’ with “Belong,” an impressive output that is arguably his biggest release of the year so far.
“Belong” is an impressive lesson is breaking down genre boundaries, as EDX’s old-school progressive style makes a return alongside his newer, deeper sound.
