Featuring your favorite antagonists from the Star Wars Saga, “The Funk Awakens” music video is a glorious parody of science fiction and the legendary house artists. From the onset, it seems the duo aims to swoon a pretty lady into joining the Dark Side utilizing the entire assortment of galactic essentials, including TIE fighter skateboards, lightsabers, and even an R2-BoomBox. And, as you might expect from the galaxy’s most wanted, Daft Boba and Darth Punk end up pulling a total Sith move during the epic dance battle, leaving the woman with little choice but to join their ranks. Bangalter and De-Homem Christo will weep tears of joy when they see this.
