Zedd has always been known to give back to his fans in numerous ways. From parties in the desert to a simple Retweet, he always ensures his fans are happy. Zedd recently sat down to do an AMA with AskAnything, an interactive site that allows fans to directly ask questions while the artist streams their answers. He answered questions for 20 minutes, covering a number of topics. Read a few below and check out the video for the full AMA!
Q: What’s your favorite album of all time?
A: I don’t really have a favorite album of all time because my mood changes and my taste changes but I think one of the most influential albums of all time for me is Silverchair with Diorama, which is the album my band Dioramic was based off, that I was a part of.
Q: What’s your favorite song from True Colors and why?
A: Right now, I would say my favorite song is “Beautiful Now,” but I remember the last time I was asked this I said “True Colors” so either I’m lying or I’m not sure. I really do like every single song on this album…The way I want people to feel about every single song is that every song is a story, and makes you feel a certain way. So, when you’re sad maybe you’ll like “True Colors,” when you’re happy maybe you’ll like “Beautiful Now.” And somewhere in between you might like “Paper Cut.” I do like all those different moods on the album, I think that’s what I like about it the most is that it is diverse and that you can find something no matter what mood you’re in and listen to this album.
Q: What’s your favorite animal?
A: My favorite animal…I don’t know! Uhh, Dillon Francis. Dillon Francis is my favorite animal.
