Gryffin is the gift that just keeps on giving. Just a few weeks after releasing his remix of Years & Years’ “Desire,” which was also the lead single for the soundtrack of the highly-anticipated EDM movie, We Are Your Friends, the New York City-based producer is back with his “End of Summer” mix.
Gryffin didn’t just storm onto the scene last year, rather he blew down the doors and announced his arrival with a massive remix of Ellie Goulding’s “Burn” that served as the perfect introduction to his unique blend of indie vibes with electronic textures. In the year since his inaugural release, Gryffin has laid the foundation for him to be America’s next big dance music sensation, as he has released official remixes for the likes of Maroon 5, Tove Lo, and Bipolar Sunshine that have garnered over 8 million, 11 million, and 4 million plays respectively.
Gryffin’s “End of Summer” mix is a lesson in the summer-ready melodies and thumping bass lines of the burgeoning star. The hour-long mix features fan-favorites like the aforementioned remix of Tove Lo’s “Talking Body” and BANKS’ “Beggin for Thread,” as well as a few unreleased goodies sprinkled amongst select cuts by EDX, Nora en Pure, and more.
