I have really been yearning for something melodic and passionate lately, and I stumbled upon exactly what I needed a couple nights ago. This special track is a Papermind remix of Lauv’s “The Other.”
The vocals are absolutely breathtaking, and the climactic essence behind the entire rendition is truly wondrous. There’s a strong bassline in the the choruses of the tune, and the electronic bits and pieces resound throughout the entire song. I really enjoy Papermind’s choice to keep all of the vocals involved in this remix. The song wasn’t too chopped up or moved around, and the original nature is kept intact to ensure pure listening bliss. Papermind is certainly coming out of nowhere to provide the best and most inventive pieces of music.
