Major Lazer, DJ Snake and MØ’s “Lean On” is widely acclaimed as one of the biggest hits of the summer, and to cement that fact the group of artists joined together for a “live performance” on the popular TV program, Good Morning America.
Although it wasn’t quite as bad as The Chainsmokers pressing play on “#SELFIE” for American Idol, this showing is dismal to say the least. Diplo appears to be playing the same notes over and over again with no noticeable addition to the sound coming through the speakers, while DJ Snake is playing a piano in a corner; of which we also hear and see little to none. MØ, however, proves her live singing capabilities – as does a stand-in drummer, trumpet and saxophone player – while backup dancers aim to further distract in the background.
