At a certain point in a star producer/DJ’s career, your fans know a lot more about you than you might like. Still a lot of those characteristics are pretty out in the open, like Porter Robinson’s love of classic video games and old Japanese nostalgia.
We’ve already seen him speak multiple times with fans from Japan and answer their questions, but Porter has just received what must be one of the best gifts a DJ has gotten from a fan yet. Inside a handmade cardboard box with images from his Worlds tour is an N64 cartridge – Star Wars Episode I: Racer, of course – with the Worlds tour logo on it. (One of the logos in the bottom left on the back is actually Madeon’s, but we’ll forgive it.)
