When Oliver Heldens and Shaun Frank teamed up for “Shades of Grey,” it was a pretty great moment. The track had Heldens’ typical future house swagger, but it had a much more retrospect feel to it, as well. But it still felt like it was missing something…
Then comes along Megaphonix with the missing puzzle piece and everything seems to fall into place. When you put a progressive house spin on the tune, it just simply takes it up another level. Megaphonix adds some Zedd-esque percussive bridges into the mix along with an absurdly hopeful top line that just makes you feel all good inside. And isn’t that what we always want?
