Arty’s Latest Single Gets Remixed By the One and Only Mat Zo [Free Download]

As one of the most widely recognized artists on our list, Mat Zo has potential to have a big 2015. His debut album Damage Control has been nominated for a Grammy, whose awards take place in February. Even if he doesn't win, he still has his new label Mad Zoo to cultivate. As someone with such a diverse catalog, it will be interesting to see not only which artists Zo decides to sign to his label, but what type of music he'll decide to release himself.

Two names that seem to bounce off each other have left distinct marks in the electronic dance music scene. Initially gaining notability from their collaboration “Rebound” on Anjunabeats, producers and DJs Arty and Mat Zo have since lead remarkable careers and garnered respectable fanbases. Although there days as golden boys from Above & Beyond‘s label are behind them, they are still prominent musical figures that continue to put out tremendous originals, collaborations, and remixes.

Just a few days ago, these two names were reunited with a track originally thought to be a collaboration between themselves. The newest original song from Arty and featuring Ray Dalton called “Stronger” receives a remix from Mr. Zo that flips this track 180 degrees. Recreating his colleague’s newest track, Mat Zo delivers a disco vibe better than any Twitter rant he’s ever given. Blending Ray’s vocals over on top of a sensational melody of violins, Mat Zo’s remix of “Stronger” plays the disco-house trumpet like Dizzy Gillespie on Sonny Side Up.

Although the remix leaked ahead of schedule, Mat Zo did the world a favor and dropped his remix with download option on his SoundCloud. Check out the remix and let us know what you think of the remix of Arty and Ray Dalton’s “Stronger” from Mat Zo.
