Man In Wheelchair Crowdsurfed & Brought Up On Stage During Music Festival

While deaths at music festivals have cluttered news feeds over the past couple of days, it’s easy to forget that we go to music festivals for the feeling of connectedness we get from being together with people with common interests – i.e., the music.

Festivals are a breeding ground for love and unity if you can allow it, and Osheaga Festival in Montreal is a shining example.

A disabled man in a wheelchair was crowd surfed to the front of the stage during Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros’ set. “As the man approached the front, singer Alex Ebert asked if he’d like to join him on stage. Ebert even headed down himself to help the man get over the security barrier.”
