Thomas Marc has released a new tune through Brooklyn Fire entitled “Magikk” and it is definitely just that: magic.
The track is every bass house lover’s dream, filled with all the wubs and futuristic sounds they could ask for. It begins with electronic blips that remind me a lot of something Crystal Castles would use, and it sets the stage for the rest of the tune. It’s also infused with really neat build ups which sound a lot like a deep house tune, but once the drops hit it’s nothing but great, in your face bass action. The track has the best of two worlds as it’s incredibly dancey as well as hard, and I love the combination that Thomas Marc came up with here.
