Extreme weather has been hitting festivals hard this weekend. Lollapalooza was temporarily evacuated early and now, Veld Music Festival is currently shutting down completely. Due to a severe storm in the area, festival organizers do not believe the grounds are safe to continue:
High winds, hail, and rain are all to be expected within the next hour. The festival is providing shelter to fans who need time to organize a way home or to wait the storm out. At this time, Veld Music Festival does not plan on reopening its doors.
