HARD Summer is one of the pinnacle electronic events in America. The unique and original lineup combined with the Los Angeles culture make HARD Summer in a league of its own. Featuring artists such as Jack U, Dillon Francis, Mija and more, this years event is one of the biggest in the festivals history.
However, sad news this morning as the Pomona coroners office is reporting that 2 women have died of suspected drug overdose after attending HARD Summer this past Saturday. Both women were under the age of 20 and their identities have not been released yet.
“An 18-year-old woman was transported to Pomona Valley Medical Center after collapsing at the music festival. She was pronounced dead at the hospital at 6:04 p.m. 
A 19-year-old female was also found unresponsive and transported to Pomona Valley Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 8:10 p.m.” –ABC Eyewitness News
With over 65,000 in attendance, the doors will soon open for day 2 of HARD Summer. This, as always, serves as a sad reminder that it is up to everyone to help look out for friends and to party responsibly.
