We’re proud to present another exclusive premiere for you today, and this one is a very special bootleg. Created by the incredibly talented young producer Maarcos, he has taken on The Chemical Brothers’ massive ‘Sometimes I Feel Deserted’ and made it completely unique with his sound.
He says of the rework: “The Chemical Brothers are one of my favorite bands of all time, especially in electronic music. I’ve been following them since around 1998 and they’ve been one of those groups that are one step ahead musically and always sound fresh. I loved this single ‘Sometimes I Feel So Deserted’ so much, so I sped it up a little bit and added my little touch to it, along with some experimental sounds that you might hear from my first album that I’m currently working on. Interestingly enough, the slower speed of their original has given me the confidence to work on things not at 126/127 BPM!”
