These Scientists Made Original Music Using People’s Brainwaves

Quite possibly the coolest thing you’ll see on the internet today. Researches inspired by Netflix’s new series Sense 8 have created an original “symphony” using different people’s brainwaves.

The process proceeds by reading people’s alpha, beta, delta, gamma and theta brainwaves after being subjected to various stimuli and then running the waves through an algorithm that looks for specific patterns which are then translated into certain notes and rhythms. The results, as you’ll soon hear, are astoundingly beautiful.
