Two weeks ago the rising collective Moving Castle uploaded a cryptic track titled “7.29.15.” It sounded like a phone call between Robokid, Manila Killa, AObeats, and Desktop, as those names are presented on the accompanying artwork, with music playing in the background. The discussion reveals that, well, something is going to drop on July 29th. Today that track did drop, called “Helix 2.0” after Robokid’s original “Helix” release. The formerly named Desktop, Blaise Railey, drops a killer verse with lyrical hooks for days. “Helix 2.0” is a panoramic snapshot of youthful summers, and a legendary collaboration of talents.
