Except for a few artists who still tour consistently, Melbourne bounce is in quite the slump. One of the few artists who still gets booked regularly, and who helped bring the genre to the attention of the masses, is Deorro.
Deorro is back with a new bootleg, heavily sampling bits of “Hustlin'” by Rick Ross and “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” by Daft Punk. While the former actually serves to give a little depth and hype to the track, and especially influencing its name, the Daft Punk sample serves little purpose in the overall scope of the track. I suppose it would be neat to hear that bit in a live setting, but for home listeners, it’s superfluous and unnecessary.
