Just on the brink of leaving his teenage years forever, Folk continues his path into the spotlight with another killer output, “Futura,” that is sure to see a similar fate to that of his Hype Machine-topping remix of Oh Wonder back in May.
Disco and funk are two elements that shine in all of Jerry’s productions, but he really tries to damper the house elements to let his love of raspy, organic sounds come to life. “Futura” isn’t a track you will be hearing on the main stage with people going bonkers over, but it is a track that you listen too when reading the paper at a coffee shop in the morning looking for some good music to just appreciate before you start your day. “Futura” is up for free download so grab yours below.
