When I saw the title of this song, I had a feeling I was in for some Calvin Harris deep house. And I was right, as Calvin delivers a radio-ready tune full of those deep vibes, perfect for any summer party playlist.
A collaboration with Disciples, “How Deep Is Your Love” is an upbeat tune that’s not too complex. It’s mission is to deliver a happy atmosphere, something it does very well. The bass-y plucks and piano chords bring on the head bobbing; I can picture this being an ideal soundtrack to an oceanside drive. The vocal track provides some much needed color to the track, mixed in perfectly to grab your focus. The deep sounds are used to back the singing, resulting in a feel-good melody that surely will not disappoint fans of the genre!
