The Dutch producer’s works have skewed toward uplifting trance sound, but lately his episodes of Enhanced Music’s “Enhanced Sessions” podcasts have all featured house artists and their deeper, techy beats. The hybrid of these styles is apparent in his approach to a bootleg of London Grammar’s “If You Wait.” Singer Hannah Reid’s Adele-like lower range in the beginning of the track is haunting, but the song opens up to a beautiful string section and her soaring vocals. This transitions the song to a trancier vibe for the drop, a massive and bright contrast from the previous sections.
