David Guetta Removes Promotional Video Amidst Massive Controversy

Yesterday morning, we called out David Guetta for a highly offensive promotional video for his residency in Ibiza, F*** Me i’m Famous. While the article itself spawned controversy over whether or not the video was in fact racist, other festivals began to ban the wearing of war bonnets at their festivals in the face of cultural sensitivity. More so, it produced a lot of negative PR for Guetta and led to the video being taken down.

The petition has reached over 6,000 signatures and as Billboard talked about it on Twitter, the person responsible for bringing this all to our attention spoke out again against the offensive nature of Guetta’s promo.
