ZZ Ward stormed into the music industry in 2012 with her stellar debut album, Til The Casket Drops. Her single, “365 Days,” off of the album had the entire music industry buzzing, and it was clear from the start that the songstress had an unique spunk to her that was apparent in her music. Now, ZZ Ward is back with her highly-anticipated follow up, This Means War, which is due out on September 18th, and the lead single off the album, “LOVE 3X,” has gotten remixed by some of the best producers in dance music.
One of the artists tabbed to remix “LOVE 3X” is Robert DeLong, and he’s given the indie pop track his own electronic flair. Boasting an extensive background with drums, DeLong pitches down ZZ Ward’s infectiously catchy pop croons and infuses the track with intricate percussion works, giving the pop anthem a darker, more sinister feel.
