Since Gesaffelstein’s final live performance at Coachella a few months ago, we’ve not heard much from him. In fact, after just checking, his entire Facebook has been wiped absolutely clean … except for one post.
With just a link to a website of his own name, Gesaffelstein has effectively brought the hype to 11/10.

The website features a distorted and futuristic synth line, white noise that tears at the very fabric of our understanding. 
As of the time of this post, the countdown ends in 63 days. If you count it out, that lands on September 11th, at noon PST.
Gesaffelstein is French, so we’ll give him the benefit of the doubt that the day that we won’t forget was, well … forgotten. Still, it’s something to keep in mind.
With the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) announcing Friday as the new release date for albums (for whatever reason), and with 9/11 falling on a Friday this year, it’s entirely possible that we might be hearing new music from Gesaffelstein very, very soon.
