Infamous ghost producer Maarten Vorwerk, who is well known as the name behind some of the biggest festival anthems of our time, is – finally – releasing on his own.
After jokingly pursuing votes for DJ Mag’s Top 100 via Twitter, the non-DJ decided he would release some old, never before seen tunes from his early days; the first of which is live now on his SoundCloud, and is streamable below.
The 2003 techno original is a glaring look at the producer’s talent. Featuring analog derived synths and a haunting vocal reminiscent of the days before dance music was blessed (or tainted, depending on how you look at it) with the label of EDM, this track is a certified classic.
