Gracing the aquatic-themed Imagine Music Festival this year is an excellent multi-genre line up that will have the southeast in a complete frenzy come the end of August. Phase II artist announcements successfully ramped up our excitement for the southern soiree with an arsenal of amazing artists added to the bill. A few of the unmissable sets you have to be at will be Tipper with Japan’s Android Jones, Pyramid Scheme throwing down with the well-known Ying Yang Twins, and Black Sun Empire’s epic drum ‘n bass. Morgan Page, DJ SS, and ATL’s Le Castle Vania should also make your to-see list. Local favorites Shine Live and Eddie Gold have amazing mixes I’ve included below you should be checking out to hype you up. Midnight Panda, Stranger Candy, and Ployd are more local artists on the block you should be keen to.
Bassheads rejoiced as phase 1 headliners like Datsik, 12th Planet, G Jones, ill.Gates, Destroid’s drummer KJ Sawka, and more are peppered into the schedule. Electro house lovers will turn it up to 11 on the dot when Dada Life brings their insanity to the main stage. Ravers young and old will flock to the rarity of seeing Crystal Method throw down right in the middle of their city with the beautiful water backdrop enhancing their experience. Felix Cartal is also an unmissable and hard-to-find-in-Atlanta artist that everyone should venture over and check out. The Glitch Mob, Chromeo, Griz, and Lil Jon are all stellar headlining additions that always please the masses. We are again fortunate to see a Pretty Lights Music showcase featuring Elliot Lipp and Paul Basic. Atlanta’s local blonde bombshell DJ Leah Culver (formerly MK Ultra) has proven herself worthy of a big stage performance every Atlanta native won’t miss.
