Each year the mighty Toolroom Records never fails to disappoint us with compilation albums covering some of the world’s biggest cities like Miami, Ibiza, and Amsterdam. Fresh off their release of ‘Ibiza 2015’ last month, Toolroom is ready to take you deeper into the depths of Ibiza’s underground scene with an album that is intoxicating right from the start. ‘Ibiza Underground’ is packed with over 18 exclusive tracks featuring big names like Jaceo, 123XYZ, Groovebox whose work really places this album on the next level.

Just about every track off ‘Ibiza Underground’ will get your blood pumping, especially “Funky Heroes” by Vidaloca & Plem. You’re hooked instantly as they chop up a funky vocal sample paired perfectly with a latin-house beat. The party doesn’t stop there, as 123XYZ lure you in with an eerie yet fascinating track, “It’s Back”. Honestly, this is my favorite selection off the entire album, brilliantly orchestrated to give you the exact sensation of being in Ibiza’s Underground.

DJ Fronter picks up the tempo with a beachy tune “Trumperc” that features a groovy, Latina feel and encapsulates that sultry, summertime feel of the island. Groovebox’s “Jano” is irresistible as bass thunders through while the vocals throw it into complete chaos. Irregular Synth makes an appearance with a hot track “Asso Di Picche”. It’s more of a crossover tune paired with an acid/tech house rhythm, carrying an impeccable sound.

Don’t sleep on George Privatti‘s “Tonteke” either, it’s a hidden gem on this album that helps solidify the album as a stable underground essential. Check out the exclusive preview below to hear some new tunes off of Toolroom’s ‘Ibiza Underground’!
