Music streaming has been the talk of the week, with SoundCloud bringing in new rules, Tidal’s interim CEO resigning, and Taylor Swift addressing Apple Music in the name of all artists, so let’s switch it up and shed light on this new music discovery app called Popped, which chances are you haven’t heard of yet, but this changes now! I’ve been using the app for about 2 weeks now as a friend put me on to it, pointing out that YourEDM’s channel is currently getting streamed on the app, and I was not disappointed. The concept of the app is similar to Tinder, though this isn’t the place to find a hookup, but rather be hooked up with the hottest tracks making their way through out the SoundCloud platform, and most importantly the ones your peers are recommending to check out!
