Michael Calfan – Mercy [Spinnin’ Records]

Michael Calfan made his return to Spinnin’ Records at the end of 2014 with a revamped image and sound that many were shocked to see aspire. After reinforcing his changed style, Michael Calfan consistently demonstrated that his new sound was his own that he called “soul house” that seemed to be melodic, big room, and tropical house all packaged together. He is still riding the wave of success from “Treasured Soul” that lit up stages from one corner of the Earth to another, and now just in time for summer, he releases “Mercy.”

The track has already seen support from Pete Tong, Kygo, Oliver Heldens, and more as there is a good reason why. “Mercy” is founded upon the harmonic lead that roars over an ensemble of drum rhythms and ivory melodies. Similar to that of Bakermat and Klingande, it seems that Michael Calfan is looking for organic elements to fuse with his new age production techniques.

“Mercy” will be out June 29th on Spinnin’ Records.
