Yesterday, we had unfortunate news to share about the death of a 24-year-old man at the Electric Day Carnival in Las Vegas this past weekend. Although very little has been revealed in relation to the victim, the company behind EDC Las Vegas known as Insomniac Events issued a statement Sunday evening about the tragic loss of this festival goer.
“We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the man who passed away. The health and safety of our fans is Insomniac’s first priority and we take every measure to create a safe environment. While the cause of this tragedy will take some time to determine, we ask that you keep his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. Tonight and every night, we ask all of our fans to take care of themselves and one another.”
Although another youth has lost his life at an event made for entertainment, it’s important for everyone going to music festivals to stay safe and to party responsibly. Party safe and take care of your fellow ravers.
