Attendees at the Memorial Coliseum were in for a special treat last night, and the massive star power behind the music was only half the fun. The venue projected an insane light show, including some stunning geometric figures and fractals, on the inside of a makeshift dome in the Coliseum.
With Skrillex, Diplo, and DJ Snake as the headliners, I’m sure the music was nothing short of fantastic, but those visuals are some of the most aesthetically satisfying I’ve ever seen. The five hour dance rager was hosted by .party() – pronounced dot party – a traveling event series created by Notch back in 2012. Having attended a ton of music festivals and individual shows, I rarely get jealous when I miss an EDM-related opportunity.
This is one that I am truly pissed I had to miss.
